Britta Lindell - Lights (LP)

22.00 / Sold Out

A true outsider on the Swedish folk-prog scene, Britta Lindell would play almost all instruments on her records, sometimes even re-building them to her liking. This is the case here as well, as she cedits herself playing a piembalo (which is half piano, half cembalo). Our top pick is the Brazilian-inspired "Maoa Ke" which is a beautiful mellow groover with Britta singing in what might be just made up words. But mostly you'll find her sense of humor more evident on tracks like "2+2=5" in which she miseducates her ever-present choir of children into complete nonsense facts.
